The chairman of Geberit, a market leader in sanitary and piping systems, will chair a second company – in the financial market.

Albert M. Baehny has been elected chairman of Tareno, a Basel-based asset manager, the company said in a statement today. Baehny is chairman of Geberit, a company with an annual turnover of 2.59 billion Swiss francs in 2015. He managed the company for years before taking over as chairman.

Tareno also reelected Thomas Bucher and Oscar Battegay. Baehny will replace Guy Rueff as chairman. Felix López has also decided to step down as member of Tareno's board.
