Swiss-based Flynt is ramping up its development in order to open its doors to wealthy clients. Now, the fintech bank is losing its technology boss.

As Flynt was presenting its new technology platform to media – as finews.com reported – Chief Executive Stijn Vander Straeten disclosed a key management departure.

Steffen Lentz, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and part of the Zug-based fintech bank's management, will leave the firm in November, said Vander Straeten.

Lentz had joined Flynt less than two yours ago as product owner, and was promoted to the top tech job one year later.

Platform Infancy

His departure couldn't come at a worse time for Flynt. Its proprietary platform is in its infancy, and is set for further modules in order to make wealth management easier for the ultra-rich.

Vander Straeten said a search process to replace Lentz, who was previously head of development at Swiss banking software provider Finnova.
