One of Lombard Odier’s top executives in Asia has decided to leave the company to take on a new challenge at a Canadian wealth manager.

Vincent Duhamel in November will assume the roles of global president and chief operating officer (COO) at Fiera Capital, a Canadian wealth manager. The Montreal-based company has about C$125 billion (about 100 billion Swiss francs) in assets under management.

Duhamel, a citizen of Canada, from 2011 through 2017 was capital partner and CEO for Asia at Lombard Odier, the Geneva-based private bank.

Returning Home

Earlier this year, the Swiss bank moved Duhamel up to take on the role as chairman of the Asian unit at Lombard Odier and appointed Vincent Magnenat as its new chief executive officer in Asia.

Before joining the Swiss bank, Duhamel worked as CEO of Sail Advisors, which is active in the hedge-fund industry. He also has a past at Goldman Sachs in Hong Kong and State Street Global Advisors. Duhamel is very happy to return to his home country after more than two decades working abroad, he commented in the statement released by Fiera Capital.
