The former head of Credit Suisse's private bank and ex-Falcon Private Bank CEO is taking a stake in a Swiss finance boutique.

Walter Berchtold left the top job at Falcon Private Bank roughly one year ago. Now, the private banking heavyweight and ex-boss of Credit Suisse's wealth arm is making a comeback as the chairman of private debt boutique Vicenda, the company said in a statement.

Berchthold, who will take an operational role, will become the main shareholder of Vicenda, which was founded five years ago. The boutique employs roughly 20 people, and says it has advised on transactions of more than $1 billion.
