Klaus Wellershoff's Zwei Wealth Experts will expand its business in Geneva and has hired a former private banker to head the new office.

Zwei Wealth Experts, co-founded by former UBS chief economist Klaus Wellershoff will open an office in Geneva, the company said in a statement on Thursday (release in German language). It already has branches in Basel, Milan and Tel Aviv outside its headquarters of Zurich.

The advisory firm hired an experienced private banker to lead the office. Frédéric Luyet has previously worked in the onshore business of UBS, Credit Suisse and J. Safra private bank. Until the end of last year, Luyet was responsible for the Swiss wealth management at BNP Paribas’ Swiss private banking unit.

Major Growth Program

Luyet has been charged with the task to expand the business in French-speaking Switzerland both for international and Swiss clients.

The company is set to launch a major growth phase in several markets and will add a number of new staff to help it along. Zwei Wealth Experts currently has 23 advisors signed on.
