Klaus Wellershoff’s Zwei Wealth Experts has appointed another ex-UBS banker. The company has now 21 advisers working from six offices.

Ruedi Baumgartner is the latest addition to the adviser network of Zwei Wealth Experts, according to a statement on Tuesday (in German).

Baumgartner has many years of experience in private banking, having started out as an assistant to the executive of UBS in Zurich. Later, he was seconded to the Cantrade subsidiary and to a posting on Jersey. He also worked for BNP Paribas for 14 years, as CEO in Monaco, Geneva and Zurich.

Advising the Bank Clients

Starting in 2012, Baumgartner took over at the helm of KBL (Switzerland) in Geneva, a firm controlled from the Luxembourg headquarters. In 2015, the Swiss private banking of KBL was transferred to BIL, which is also based in Luxembourg.

Zwei Wealth Experts, which was co-founded by Klaus Wellershoff, the former chief economist of UBS, has 6 offices with 21 advisers in total. They help client choose the right bank for their purposes and to keep tabs on how it performs. The company in November 2017 had expanded to Italy.
