The French banking giant is swapping management between Switzerland and China.

Société Générale named Anne Marion-Bouchacourt as its country head, effective this month, the bank said on Tuesday. She follows Hugues de La Marnierre, who has held the role for the past two years.

The two French bankers are swapping jobs: Marion-Bouchacourt, who has run China since 2012, is handing her job over to La Marnierre, a former investment banker. Marion-Bouchacourt, who is one of the 62 top executives of SocGen, will report to Thierry d’Argent, head of coverage and investment banking.

She will be responsible for SocGen's overall business in Switzerland. She will also become CEO of SG Zurich, which is made up of corporate and investment banking, asset manager Lyxor, a securities business, and global transaction and payment services.
