Basel-based biotech Therachon focuses on therapies for rare diseases. It raised about 60 million francs from investors including Pfizer Ventures, money it will use to find a cure against Achondroplasie, a genetic disorder that inhibits bone growth.

Zurich-based WayRay develops holographic solutions for cars. It raised 77 million francs from investors, among them Porsche.

An IT startup that wants to enhance life in the office. Employees working in offices on average grapple with 22 minutes of IT disruption a day. The real-time analysis tool developed by the EPFL spinoff aims to change this. It received 83 million francs. It customers include Glencore and Commerzbank.

The Zug-based fintech wants to launch a crypto bank with a banking license, bridging traditional banking with the crypto-world. It raised 100 million francs from investors in Switzerland and from abroad.
