Wealth manager Sumus Capital has hired a senior private banker at the Geneva offices. The new hire has broad experience in the business with big banks and the Middle East.

Sumus Capital, which has its headquarters in Geneva, aims to broaden the client portfolio and strenghten the private banking activities.

For that purpose, the firm appointed Grégoire Post, a relationship manager of Bergos Berenberg private bank. Post is a good fit because of his technical capabilities and readiness to help develop the company further, said Sumus Capital in a statement.

Arab Banking Expert

Before his spell at Bergos Berenberg, Post worked for UBS. He specialized in the business with the United Arab Emirates, Oman and Pakistan. He had a client book worth $510 million belonging to rich and very rich people. He also has a past at Credit Suisse and HSBC.

Post will report to Paolo Anastasi, a member of the executive committee and head of private banking.
