The Swiss private bank is making a slew of appointments to its Singapore team. They include several veterans of the wealth management industry.

EFG has gone on a hiring spree in the city-state, according to «Citywire Asia», which reported eight new appointments at the firm. The move is in line with the Swiss private bank's ambitions to grow its business in Asia Pacific.

The Zurich-based firm hired Brandon Wong as a senior investment counselor from BNP Paribas, where he spent nine years in a similar role at the French bank's wealth arm. EFG is also hiring Grace Wong, a two-decade industry veteran, from BNP, where she is currently team director for Taiwan.
