Crealogix aims to expand its business in Asia. The Swiss digital-banking fintech has hired a managing director with a long track record working in the region.

Asia-Pacific is a new key market for Crealogix, the Swiss banking-software maker. It plans to develop its operations in the region and has hired Karsten Kemna in the rank of managing director for this purpose, according to a statement on Wednesday (release in German).

In his new position, Kemna will be a key person to implement the group-wide expansion and transformation to make Crealogix a global leader for digital banking software.

Asia Veteran

Kemna has been active in Singapore for more than 13 years. He spent the majority of his career at Diebold Nixdorf (which used to be known as Wincor Nixdorf), an IT-provider for banks. He spent 16 years working for the firm, both in the distribution department and in the management of the banking service division of the company.

He joins from ERI Bancaire, a software firm, where he was chief executive for the Asia-Pacific region.
