UBP further bolsters its Hong Kong business with the hire of three new senior private bankers.

The Swiss wealth manager is hiring Ula Ju and Mary Cheung as new senior relationship managers based in Hong Kong, it said in an emailed statement. The move is part of Union Bancaire Privée's expansion in Hong Kong, with an emphasis on client bankers.

Ju joins from BNP's team for China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, while Cheung was hired from Credit Suisse where she was most recently a managing director and private banker in Hong Kong.

Hong Kong Growth

Last month, UBP also hired Flora Kam as a senior private banker for the super-rich in China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. Kam previously worked with Credit Suisse, UBS and J.P. Morgan.

According to the bank, its Hong Kong office has increased the count of relationship managers by over 30 percent in the last two years with a focus on bankers for China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
