Capital Group has appointed a distribution expert for its offices in Zurich. She joins from a Geneva-based rival.
Katja Isik has been named associate director institutional at the Swiss unit of Capital Group, according to a statement released by the U.S. asset manager on Monday. Isik will support the team of Fabian Wallmeier in Zurich in developing the business with institutional clients.
The distribution experts joins the American company from Lombard Odier Asset Management, the funds business of the Geneva-based private bank. She has almost 20 years of experience in selling funds and previously worked for Wellington Management, Blackrock and Merrill Lynch Investment Managers in Zurich.
Capital Group has teams in Geneva and Zurich with a total of 131 members of staff. The U.S. firm globally manages some $2 trillion in client assets.
