Swisscanto has appointed a new head of fixed income. He joins from the asset management of rival Credit Suisse.

Sébastien Zoeller is taking over the role as head of fixed income at Zuercher Kantonalbank’s (ZKB) asset management divisions Swisscanto, according to a statement released by the bank on Monday. He replaces Benno Weber and will report to Iwan Deplazes, head of asset management at Swisscanto Invest.

Zoeller worked in different functions for the asset management division of Credit Suisse, whom he joined in 2015. His last position was head of alternative fixed income, where he led a team of eight portfolio managers.

Over at his new job, Zoeller will take charge of all active fixed-income strategies, said ZKB in the statement.
