Zwei Wealth is expanding in French-speaking Switzerland. An ex-UBS private banker is spearheading the push.

The Zurich-based start-up founded by ex-UBS bankers Klaus Wellershoff and Patrick Mueller wants to reinforce in Geneva and in the wider region, it said in a statement on Friday. The six-year-old fintech is tasking Jean-Daniel Debons, also an ex-UBS private banker, with a hiring push, regional expansion, and strategic development.

Debons joined Zwei Wealth as a partner last October. «Geneva as a financial center and western Switzerland as a region form an important pillar for the expansion of Zwei Wealth,» CEO Patrick Mueller said in a statement.
