German insurtech Friday, which belongs to Swiss insurer Baloise, wants to increase its profitability. As a measure, Friday is bringing in two more executives.

Friday, the Berlin-based digital insurance subsidiary of Baloise, wants to grow more strongly and improve profitability. To this end, the platform and market presence will be expanded, Baloise said in a statement released on Friday.

Nate Glissmeyer and Robin Latz will therefore join Friday's management team. Glissmeyer will join as chief platform officer. Latz will take over the management of the German business.

Glissmeyer comes from Holidaycheck, a kind of German Tripadvisor, and previously had a career at Amazon in Seattle. Latz had previously been chief of customer service at Friday.
