UBS is bringing in reinforcements for its private banking operations in Duesseldorf, Germany. Meanwhile, a veteran wealth adviser from Frankfurt moves to a smaller competitor.

Switzerland's largest bank hires a senior relationship manager for its Duesseldorf branch. Frank Wagemann, who previously looked after wealthy families at the German subsidiary of Anglo-Chinese HSBC, started work in the UBS team at the beginning of the year, «Private Banking Magazin» reported.

Wagemann specializes in developing strategies for family businesses, it added. Before joining HSBC Germany, Wagemann also worked for Deutsche Bank at its London, Stuttgart and Frankfurt offices.

Departure in Frankfurt

In Frankfurt, however, the Swiss bank sees a senior wealth manager depart. Michael Korf started his new job at DJE Kapital today, February 1, German portal «Finanzbusiness» reported. Korf worked almost 16 years as a wealth planner at UBS in Frankfurt.

At his new employer, Korf will look after both private and corporate clients. DJE Kapital is registered in Pullach near Munich.
