The management consultant is adding to its Swiss practice with a financial services specialist.
Korn Ferry is appointing Katharina Hesse as senior client partner for executive search in Zurich, effective immediately, it said in an emailed statement on Monday. Hesse, who is specialized in insurance, banking, and professional services, was most recently at Russell Reynolds Associates, where she was an executive director.
«With the hire of Katharina Hesse, we're strengthening the financial services center of excellence in Switzerland,» said Patrick Maeder, who is the leader of Korn Ferry's financial service advisory in the wider region. Hesse's expertise is in advising insurers in Switzerland as well as in international transformation and risk management projects, including financial and regulatory issues.
Hesse, who studied computer sciences, German studies, and constitutional law before earning her MBA in Muenster, worked for Bearing Point for several years, and for Credit Suisse on a wealth management project for nearly two years before joining Reynolds eight years ago.
