Accenture's digital agency names a new managing director shortly after appointing a new CEO for the Swiss part of it.

The consulting firm named Karin Libowitzky managing director of Accenture Interactive effective 1 May, it said in a statement released Friday. She joins the consultancy from digital agency Vizeum, where she was the CEO of the German business.

Accenture also appointed Claudia Leischner as digital marketing associate director at Interactive. Previously, she spent eight years as managing director of Gyros company B2B International in Germany. Both executives worked together at Tokyo-based international advertising agency and public relations firm Dentsu, managing a large number of clients as a team.

Accenture Interactive's objective is to connect deep human and business insights with the possibilities of technology to define and deliver new realities. According to its website, it is part business consultancy, part creative agency and part technology powerhouse.

In the 2020 Ad Age Agency report, Accenture Interactive was ranked the largest digital agency worldwide for the fifth consecutive year. Fast Company also rated it one of it «most innovative companies» in 2019. It appointed Benjamin Tueck CEO of the Swiss business in February.
