A two-year-old boutique focused on the ultra-rich is launching in Geneva, hiring an ex-Credit Suisse private banker to oversee the activities.

Azura, a London-based boutique for super-rich entrepreneur families, will open for business in Geneva after clinching a nod from Swiss financial regulator Finma, it said in an emailed statement. It is hiringFrédéric Turrettini, a veteran of Credit Suisse's private bank.

Turrettini, who left the Swiss wealth manager in 2019, was responsible for wealthy private clients in French-speaking Switzerland as well as deputy head of Swiss ultra-high net worth clients.

Azura was founded in 2019 by Ali Jamal, a former Julius Baer banker. It maintains offices in Monaco and Singapore and oversees $2.5 billion in assets.
