Former Credit Suisse chairman Urs Rohner has landed a lucrative advisory role with Investcorp.

Credit Suisse’s former chairman Urs Rohner has been a member of Bahrain-based alternative asset manager Investcorp’s advisory board since the beginning of July, the company said in a press release  this week.

Rohmer will be in good company as the advisory board includes former Austrian chancellor Wolfgang Schüssel, former Spanish foreign minister Ana Palacio, and star investor and president of Queen’s College, Cambridge, Mohamed El-Erian.

Ten Years as Credit Suisse Chairman

Rohner was chairman at Credit Suisse for 10 years  and handed over to António Horta-Osório on April 30. After leaving the bank Rohner set up a consultancy in Zurich. He is also a non-executive director of U.K. pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline.

Investcorp says it has around $35 billion of assets under management.
