Luxembourg-based wealth manager Quintet has filled one key vacancy at its Swiss bank, which was hit by a wave of defections recently.

Quintet is hiring Stéphanie Ichter as the finance chief of its Swiss bank, a spokesman told finews.com. Icthner, who currently holds the sales role at Bank of America Merrill Lynch's Swiss and Luxembourg arm, replaces Dirk Dillinger, who is part of a recent exodus of Swiss bankers.

Ichter, who is French, was previously head of finance at the Luxembourg-based entity of Banca della Svizzera Italiana, or BSI. That bank was bought by EFG International in 2016 after it was caught up in the scandal surrounding the 1MDB Malaysian government-run strategic development company.
