The Swiss lender is hiring an experienced sustainability investment expert for its asset management arm. The Dutch national also worked for UBS previously.

Credit Suisse is hiring Jeroen Bos as global head of sustainable investing for its asset management arm effective January 1, according to an internal memo seen by finews.com.

Bos joins the bank from NN Investment Partners in the Netherlands, where he headed specialized equity and responsible investing. During his time at the asset manager, Bos developed a range of investment solutions in the sustainable and impact equity area, the memo says.

Earlier in his career, Bos worked at UBS in New York, J.P.Morgan in London, and MeesPierson/Fortis in Amsterdam. Bos sits on the investment committee for the Dutch Rail and Public Transport Pension Fund, where he advises on responsible investing.

He is also a board member of the Work with Nature Foundation, a non-profit organization protecting Costa Rica’s rainforests.
