Switzerland's PKB Group, also represented in Italy by a private bank, is expanding its team of client advisors. An entire team from Credit Suisse is moving to the Lugano-based company.

Ticino-based private bank PKB has hired a team of long-standing client advisors from Credit Suisse, PKB announced on Monday. The new advisors started at the beginning of October 2022, reporting to Alessandro Cavadini, head of the Italian market at PKB.

The team is led by Raimondo Morandi, who previously worked for Credit Suisse for 24 years heading a department in Lugano with a total of eight relationship managers, including Manlio Mattia Riberti, Daniele Ghirlanda, and Monica Liberatore.

Four Swiss Offices

Founded in 1958, PKB is a family-owned international Swiss banking group specializing in private banking. The institution operates from four Swiss locations, including Zurich, Lugano (headquarters), Geneva, and Bellinzona. The group, which also includes Cassa Lombarda, an Italian private bank founded in 1923, manages assets of around 13 billion Swiss francs ($12.9 billion).

In early September, the bank announced the arrival of UBS private banker René Meyer, who is active in Latin American business. And last May, former UBS and CS banker Monica Malnati joined PKB's executive board.
