A banking software provider appoints a new Chief Product Officer. The newcomer brings experience from various industries, including soccer.

Software maker Finnova announced on Friday that banking software maker Finnova will have a new chief product officer (CPO) in Samuel Scheidegger, effective February 1. Scheidegger spent seven years at ti&m in various roles, most recently as head of products, banking innovations & new markets, and as an executive board member.

In this role, he was responsible for setting product strategy, product management, and product marketing in banking innovations and digital banking platforms.

Swiss Football Association

After studying engineering, Scheidegger gained banking and IT experience at Julius Baer, Baloise Bank SoBa, the Esprit network, and other banking institutions. Scheidegger is also vice president of the Swiss Football Association.

The statement added that Simon Kauth steps down as CPO on October 31 to take up a new challenge at Luzerner Kantonalbank on January 1. Founded in 1974, Finnova is a leading banking software provider in Switzerland.
