Switzerland's first digital private bank is revving up its branding efforts by appointing Red Bull formula one test driver and 4-time 24 Hours of Le Mans winner Sébastien Buemi, its third Swiss brand ambassador.

A recent inductee into the Le Mans 24 Hours hall of fame, Swiss racing driver Sébastien Buemi becomes honorary chief inspiration officer of Alpian, Switzerland's first digital private bank. The four-time winner of the grueling 24-hour motor endurance race is also a test driver for the Red Bull F1 team, the company announced Friday.

Buemi will be actively involved in Alpian's educational platform i-vest.ch, created to demystify investments, wealth, and financial well-being, and contribute to various topics such as risk-taking, career management, entrepreneurship, and financial empowerment. He will be working alongside tennis player Belinda Bencic, currently ranked number 12 on the WTA tour, and freestyle snowboarder and base jumper Géraldine Fasnacht, to promote and shape Alpian's corporate culture.

In welcoming Buemi, Alpian CEO Schuyler Weiss said «We are very proud to include Sébastien Buemi in our Brand Ambassador program. This partnership is of special significance. Not only is he a true inspiration because of his career and his leadership qualities, but I also think there are many parallels between motor racing and Alpian. In the same way that Formula E is driving innovation and change in motorsport, Alpian has the ambition to create innovation and ultimately transform the banking industry.»

Wealth Beyond Money

Alpian maintains a «wealth beyond money» philosophy and with that in mind, Buemi will encourage young talent across Switzerland as part of the bank's performance enhancement program,  scheduled to launch in 2023.

In addition to his wins at Le Mans and Red Bull test driving responsibilities, Buemi is a three-time World Endurance Championship (WEC) winner and two-time Formula E world champion. He still competes in the latter two series.
