JP Morgan is expanding its business with medium-sized Swiss companies. A long-time UBS investment banker is adding support to the effort, finews.ch has learned.

JP Morgan is expanding its position in corporate client banking in Switzerland with the addition of Roger Fix from UBS to help it do business with mid-sized companies, according to an internal bank message obtained by finews.ch. The largest US bank sees considerable growth opportunities in the segment, especially in Switzerland.

Since September, Angela Terra has been responsible for building up client relationships in Switzerland. Fix is now to support her in her task and reports to Bernhard Brinker, the head of the division for German-speaking Europe (DACH).

Fix has worked for UBS in investment banking for two decades, with assignments in Switzerland and Germany, as well as London and Hong Kong. Since July, JP Morgan has had a new country head in Switzerland, Reinout Boettcher who also previously worked for the UBS investment bank.
