A member of EFG International's executive committee has stepped down. Boris Collardi has a new role.

Harald Reczek, who joined EFG International in November 2020, stepped down from his position as head of investment solutions and the executive committee effective February 1 to pursue new opportunities outside of EFG, the company announced Wednesday. Last year, the division for which he was responsible suffered a 900 million Swiss franc outflow of client assets.

Moz Afzal and Oliver Heinzelmann will take over the role on an interim basis as co-heads in addition to their current responsibilities as chief investment officer & CEO of EFGAM and head of strategy & business development at EFGAM, respectively. They will report to CEO Giorgio Pradelli. A new head of investment solutions will be named in due course.

Starting March 1, EFG International board member Boris Collardi will become the Asia Pacific advisory board chair, succeeding Amy Yip, who has been in the position since 2019, according to EFG. Yip will retain her role as a member of the Asia Pacific advisory board and the board of directors of EFG International.

New Hong Kong CEO

David Louie will join the bank in April as the new CEO of its Hong Kong Branch, subject to regulatory approval. He will succeed Kees Stoute, who will take on the role of private banking COO for the Asia Pacific region and will continue to be based in Hong Kong. Louie will also become a member of the Asia business committee chaired by Albert Chiu, executive chairman of Asia Pacific.

Before joining EFG, Louie was market group head for China at Credit Suisse for over a decade and a member of its APAC management committee and executive officer for the Hong Kong branch. Before that, he was a client advisor at Safra Sarasin and held senior roles at Clariden Leu Asset Management and Deutsche Bank, both in Hong Kong.
