Private bank J. Safra Sarasin wants to seize the opportunity to build up its own capital market team. It's bringing staff over from Credit Suisse.

J.Safra Sarasin is hiring a number of employees from the capital markets team of Credit Suisse, according to a report from «AWP» on Friday, citing sources.

A significant part of Credit Suisse's capital markets team is to move to the Basel-based bank, according to the report. J.Safra Sarasin intends to build a complete team created around client acquisition, syndication, trading, sales, documentation, and «everything else that goes with it.»

Other employees from the Credit Suisse department will move to Deutsche Bank, according to another source.

As finews.com previously reported, Deutsche Bank poached Rosario Clemente from Credit Suisse as its new head of capital markets for Switzerland to start in the fall.
