Zurich-based wealth manager Zwei Wealth names its first partner in Bern as part of a plan to add more advisors this year.
Zwei Wealth appoints Rajiv Tharmalingam as a partner and «wealth officer» based in Bern, responsible for managing client mandates in the region, according to a statement (in German) on Monday.
According to his Linkedin profile, he is a partner and co-founder of Ventus Global Invest since July 2020, and before that, he was with Canon Switzerland for about six years. He was also an International Assignment Management intern at Credit Suisse for six months in 2015.
Entrepreneurial Background
This background gives Tharmalingam the necessary experience, which included the acquisition and development of real estate, in addition to traditional investment topics. As a partner, he is expected to promote the Wealth Office approach in the Bern region and establish a local presence, according to the statement.
«With his convincing manner and entrepreneurial thinking, Rajiv convinced us immediately. We are very pleased that he has decided to continue his career at ZWEI Wealth,» said CEO Patrick Muller of the appointment.
Given the strong growth in demand for independent wealth and advisory services, Zwei Wealth anticipates hiring an additional 20 advisors this year.
