Geneva-based private bank Mirabaud expands its business in London with two additions from UBS.

Mirabaud appoints Joe Knight as Managing Director and Liam Jones as Associate Director in its London private banking business, strengthening its presence in the UK, according to a statement Monday.

The two client advisors, previously with UBS, will report to Stuart Bates, head of Mirabaud's UK market.

Knight assumed his post at the beginning of August and was previously head of strategic investment advisory at UBS. He's been in the industry for over twenty years and previously worked at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, Credit Suisse, and Deutsche Bank, among others.

Jones started at Mirabaud on July 10. At UBS, he served as an associate director advising high-net-worth families, business leaders, and entrepreneurs on managing their wealth. He previously worked at wealth managers Smith and Williamson Investment Management and Asset Risk Consultants (ARC).
