ZKB Appoints New Asset Management Division Head

ZKB has appointed Philipp Löhrhoff as the new Head of Systematic Mandate & Innovation within Asset Management. He will assume the role on July 1, succeeding Roger Rüegg, who has led the Multi-Asset Solutions division since December last year.

Löhrhoff will be responsible for the performance of the bank's systematic multi-asset mandates, the bank said in a statement on Thursday. He brings a combination of leadership experience, deep multi-asset expertise, quantitative know-how and institutional portfolio management capabilities.

According to the statement, Philipp Löhrhoff has more than 13 years of experience in systematic investment strategies, derivatives and multi-asset solutions. Most recently, he spent five and a half years at private bank Berenberg, where he led a four-member team specialising in systematic and quantitative investment strategies and was responsible for the performance of systematic mandates and multi-asset solutions for institutional and ultra-high-net-worth clients.

Before joining Berenberg, Löhrhoff worked in Cross Asset Solutions at Goldman Sachs in London. Earlier in his career, he also held positions at Natixis and BNP Paribas.

According to the bank, Philipp Löhrhoff holds a Bachelor's degree in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics and a Master's degree in Finance and Economics from the London School of Economics (LSE).
