Private bank appoints branch manager, client advisor and South Africa specialist
The Neuchâtel private bank Bonhôte announced three appointments on Tuesday evening.
Ali Altinsoy will take over the management of the Geneva branch. He knows the financial center and the wealth management business in the Rhône city well, having worked in this field there for more than 15 years, first at UBS and then at the private bank Piguet Galland & Cie.
"In-depth knowledge of the Geneva financial center"
That was apparently important to his new employer as well: "His in-depth knowledge of the Geneva financial center will be a significant advantage in strengthening Bonhôte's presence and development, as it has been based in Geneva on Boulevard du Théâtre since 2009," the statement said.
At the Lausanne branch, Ramia Montandon will now work as a client advisor. Montandon previously worked, among other roles, at PostFinance in Neuchâtel as a wealth advisor for private clients. She later headed the wealth management department at a Raiffeisen bank. "This dual expertise, combining investment advice and department management, enables her to offer clients in the Lake Geneva region comprehensive and tailored support," Banque Bonhôte said.
Business development in South Africa
The third appointment is Jaime Arnold, who will now be responsible for business development in South Africa. Arnold spent a little over eight years at UBS in Wealth Management before moving to Vontobel in 2023 as a Relationship Manager. "With the appointment of Jaime Arnold, Banque Bonhôte underscores its intention to expand its presence in the South African market in a targeted and strategic manner." The focus will be on further developing family office services, tailored private banking solutions, and cooperation with independent asset managers.
For the Neuchâtel private bank, the three new hires are part of its development strategy. In doing so, it is reaffirming "its positioning as an entrepreneurially oriented bank capable of attracting top talent to strengthen its expertise and growth both in the local market and among an international clientele".
