Geneva-based private bank Mirabaud is bolstering the team that caters to clients in the U.K. One of the new hires is a veteran private banker who will work from the bank’s Zurich bureau.

Mirabaud is adding two experts on banking with rich British clients to its team, the Geneva-based private bank said. Rosalind Booth is one of the two recruits. She will work as a senior client adviser in the Zurich offices of the bank, in the rank of a first vice-president.

Vast Network of Contacts

Booth has been an active private banker for the past three decades spent in leading positions at HSBC Private Bank, Nordea Private Banking, Bank Julius Baer and Coutts, focusing on the U.K. clientele. She has a vast network of contacts in the industry.

Martin O’Hare will join the team in London in the rank of a managing director and as a senior private banker. He previously worked for J.P. Morgan Private Bank, Signia Wealth, SG Hambros and Merrill Lynch. He has 25 years of experience working in the financial market.

Targeted Expansion in the U.K.

The London office has been operative since 1990 and currently has some 100 members of staff. «These new hires reflect our targeted expansion into the U.K. wealth management market,» said Etienne d’Arenberg, head of the U.K. market at Mirabaud.
