Additiv is replacing its top executive in Asia-Pacific, who is exiting after just 15 months.

Zurich-based Additiv is appointing Pieter Zylstra as general manager for Asia Pacific, effective 22 November, it said in a statement. He replaces Kevin Hardy, a regional heavyweight who is moving to State Street as head of Singapore and Southeast Asia.

Zylstra is a former executive at Orange, a French technology firm with whom Additiv inked a tie-up three years ago. Under founder and CEO Michael Stemmle, Additiv is offering so-called «wealth management as a service,» where banks can draw their digital wealth management platform services from Additiv at the push of a button.

Asia is the 23-year-old firm's second-largest market after Europe and the wealth management fintech's APAC division has seen a period of rapid growth over the past year, Stemmle said. He has assembled a roster of executives from traditional finance, including strategy chief Christine Schmid, a former managing director at Credit Suisse.
