Zurich-based wealth manager Julius Baer has announced the appointment of a new head of Southeast Asia.

Julius Baer names Chin Lit Yee as head of Southeast Asia, reporting to executive board member and head APAC Jimmy Lee, according to a statement Wednesday.

Yee has over 30 years of wealth management experience and first joined Julius Baer in 2015. Previously, he also worked at Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, and JP Morgan.

Kevin Tay, most recently head of wealth planning and family office services in Singapore, assumes Yee’s previous role as group head of Southeast Asia and reports to him.

Branch Manager

In addition, the bank also appoints Yee Kim Tan as the Singapore branch manager, reporting to Lee.

This new responsibility supplements Tan's current roles as Greater China (Singapore) location head and group head. He will oversee the Singapore branch’s daily operations, risk controls, and governance in his expanded position.

Meanwhile, Benjamin Sim will continue in his role as deputy branch manager and chief operating officer in Singapore.
