Lombard Odier has hired a long-time Credit Suisse to expand its business with independent asset managers. The Swiss private bank flagged plans for more hires.

The Geneva-based private bank on Tuesday named Sergej Huber as head of independent asset managers in Zurich.

He will report to Yves Delaporte, the bank's global head of IAMs, and work closely together with Dominique Wohnlich, Lombard Odier's local managing director for Zurich.

Zurich Expansion

Most recently, Huber was head of investment advisory internationally as well as of advisory services for Credit Suisse. Prior to that, he was the operating head of structured products within Credit Suisse's private bank.

«We believe independent asset managers are an attractive business for Lombard Odier, and we want to expand our activities in Zurich decidedly,» Wohnlich said.
