Janus Henderson has appointed a director of sales to work with Ariane Dehn on expanding the distribution network of the U.K.-based fund company in Switzerland.
Fedor Plambeck is the new director of sales at Janus Henderson Investors in Zurich, the company said in a statement on Thursday. In this role, Plambeck will share responsible for the distribution of the company’s offering in the German-speaking part of Switzerland.
Plambeck (pictured left) is fluent in German, French and English and has been in the finance industry for a quarter of a century. Last, he was at Deutsche Bank, where he working in the sales department for institutional clients in Switzerland. Previously, he was at Barclays, Merrill Lynch and UBS Investment Bank. He’s an economist and CFA Charterholder.
Plambeck will work closely with Ariane Dehn, the head of sales for German-speaking Switzerland and Austria. He has been charged with the job to strengthen the company’s distribution network in Switzerland. With Plambeck, the Swiss sales team now has five members of staff.
