Rothschild private bank has hired six bankers in Germany and opened a new office. The team joins from a rival private bank.

Rothschild & Co. has opened a branch in Duesseldorf, according to the Zurich-based company. The new branch is the bank's second after Frankfurt. Friedrich Rogge will be head of office and start in October. Rogge will work closely with Reinhard Krafft, head of Rothschild private wealth in Germany.

Rogge has three decades of experience in wealth management and most recently was head of the Duesseldorf branch of Sal. Oppenheim private bank. The wealth management of Sal. Oppenheim recently was integrated into Deutsche Bank.

Rogge is taking five of his colleagues of Sal. Oppenheim along to Rothschild.
