Baloise is further expanding its digital service network dubbed «Home». The latest partner to join is a digital laundry business.
Baloise has acquired a majority stake in Bubble Box and will integrate the services provided by the Zurich-based startup in its online home-moving platform Movu. The insurance company didn’t say how much it paid for the stake in the statement released on Thursday.
Bubble Box provides laundry and dry cleaning services via an online platform. The offering will be integrated into the «Home» eco-system of Baloise through a cooperation with the Movu platform.
The acquisition is part of the «Simply Safe Strategy» of Baloise, the company said in the statement.
