Swiss private bank Lombard Odier is bolstering its expertise on sustainable investments and has hired two experts from Sweden – the home of Annika Falkengren, one of the bank’s partners.
Christopher Kaminker was appointed head of sustainable investment research and strategy at Lombard Odier Investment Managers (LOIM), according to a statement released on Wednesday.
In this new position, Kaminker will be in charge of the further expansion of the banks sustainability offering and research.

Kaminker used to work for Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken (SEB) as head of sustainable finance research and senior adviser. SEB is where Annika Falkengren held the position as chief executive officer through 2017.
The new sustainability manager at Lombard Odier also has a past as senior economist and policy adviser at the OECD in the area of sustainable financing. He was the organization’s delegate at G20 meetings and the Financial Stability Board. Earlier in his career, Kaminker worked for both Société Générale and Goldman Sachs.
Ex-Credit Suisse Banker
Lombard Odier furthermore has hired Ebba Lepage (pictured below) as head of corporate sustainability. She will develop Lombard Odier’s agenda on sustainability. Lepage is a Swedish citizen and may also be part of Falkengren’s network from her home country.
Lepage most recently worked for Stora Enso, the Swedish-Finnish paper and packaging giant. She was group vice president of mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance and headed the company’s sustainable investment activities in the Biomaterials Innovation division.
Originally, Lepage made her career in investment banking and in the 1990s worked in that capacity for Credit Suisse in London.
