Mirabaud private bank has appointed a new chief operating officer. The new COO knows the bank inside out.

François Leyss has been named chief operating officer of Mirabaud, the Geneva-based private bank. Starting in March, he will be in charge of IT, operations and trading across all divisions of the company, Mirabaud said in a statement on Thursday.

He's been member of the executive board of Mirabaud Asset Management since 2012, also in the capacity as COO. At the division, he will be replaced by Raphaël Ducret (pictured below). Ducret has been the head of organization at Mirabaud for the past four years.

Ducret helped strengthen and develop the company in his position and, together with Leyss, was responsible for numerous operative projects at the asset management arm.
