A U.S. tech expert is joining Swiss wealth manager Partners Group. Through this latest addition to its board, Partners Group gains access to a vast network in the tech world.

Lisa A. Hook (pictured below) stands for election to the board of directors of Partners Group on May 13, 2020, according to a statement on Thursday.

Hook will join the risk and audit committee, nomination and compensation committee and the investment oversight committee at the private market investment specialist.

Two Departures From the Board

The U.S. citizen has a vast network of contacts in the tech industry. For ten years through 2018, Hook was CEO of data analysis firm Neustar. Before, she was in high-ranking jobs at AOL, Time Warner and Viacom. Partners Group hopes the nomination of Hook will bring a highly valuable and complementary perspective to board governance across its portfolio companies.

Meanwhile, Patrick Ward and Michelle Felman are not standing for reelection. Ex-Partners Group CEO will remain chairman of the company, while fellow founders Alfred Gantner, Marcel Erni and Urs Wietlisbach also stay on board.
