The French wealth manager is tapping a veteran to take over its office in Zurich – for the second time.

Indosuez Wealth Management is hiring Elvio Gasparin as the head of its Zurich office, the Crédit Agricole-owned private bank said in an emailed statement on Monday. He replaces Frédéric Wüthrich, who left the bank after less than three years in February.

Gasparin isn't new to the job – or to Indosuez: he ran the wealth manager's operations in Zurich from 2005 until 2011, before taking a job as head of strategic clients and business developments. He is a 30-year veteran of Crédit Agricole. Indosuez last month replaced its head in Switzerland with Isabelle Jacob-Nebout, a veteran of BNP Paribas.

The private bank said it is focusing on expanding in Switzerland as well as selected international markets, and with independent asset managers and other institutional clients. It also wants to cooperate and reap synergies from other Agricole subsidiaries with Swiss presence, like Caceis, Amundi, and CA Next Bank.
