Two Swiss marketing and branding experts have set their sights on the digital business and signed up the help of a top adviser with ample experience in the fintech industry.

Ralf Kostgeld, erstwhile head of brand creation at IWC watchmaker, and Petar Dakovic, a brand executive, launched their own marketing firm in 2019. They called it Zelebrand International. Now, the two entrepreneurs engaged an adviser who has made himself a name as a top fintech-influencer.

Spiros Margaris spent decades working in finance – including at the private-banking units of Credit Suisse and UBS – before moving tack. He has since become a major name in fintech.

Experience From F10

Margaris is the fintech adviser with the biggest influence worldwide, according to several rankings, and certainly in Switzerland. He is close to the F10 incubator and University of St. Gallen.

At Zelebrand, Margaris will help out with his knowhow in the creation of a fintech expertise as a member of its advisory board, the company said in a statement on Monday.
