Zurich-based investment boutique Twelve Capital is renewing its bid to grow the business and has appointed two new board members who will help it achieve this feat.

Twelve Capital, an independent wealth manager that specializes in insurance investments, has appointed Thomas A. Mueller (pictured below) to the boards of Twelve Capital Holding and Twelve Capital AG. He brings extensive experience from previous positions within the insurance and banking industries, Twelve Capital said in a statement on Friday. Mueller is currently member of the board of Raiffeisen Switzerland, the country’s third-largest bank.

He previously was the CFO of Swiss Life and also held a number of similar positions, including at Bank J. Safra Sarasin.

In a further move, the company appointed Urs Ramseier, founding partner of Twelve Capital, as group executive chairman of Twelve Capital. He succeeds Frank Schnewlin who retires after serving the group for over seven years including acting as group chairman since 2016.
