Carmignac has appointed the chairman of Bergos Berenberg as a board member. The director previously worked for both Axa, UBS and LGT.

Christof Kutscher (pictured below) has been appointed to board of directors of French asset manager Carmignac Gestion, according to a statement released on Tuesday. He will help develop the company’s strategy and support Carmignac in improving the customer experience.

The new board member of Carmignac is chairman of HSBC Pollination Climate Asset Management, a wealth management firm that promotes the transition to a zero-emission future, the statement said.

He is also chairman of Swiss private bank Bergos Berenberg. He previously was the chief investment officer of LGT capital management and later was put in charge of UBS global asset management in the Asia Pacific region. He later chaired the Axa Investment Managers.
