Hypothekarbank Lenzburg has found a new customer for its banking IT Finstar in the Baltic republics.

Lithuanian fintech startup Bebawa will be the first fintech in Europe to use the Finstar core banking software developed in house by Hypothekarbank Lenzburg, the Swiss bank said in a press release Tuesday.

The move comes after a test phase. Financial details were not disclosed.

Vilnius-based Bebawa has an e-money license and is a regulated financial institution.

The company offers accounts and payment services but not loans or investment products.
