UBS is teaming up with two U.S. fintechs to offer rich Americans new ways to make alternative investments.

Die UBS has agreed with U.S. fintechsEnvestnet and Icapital Network to launch the Alternatives Exchange, UBS said in a press release.

It said UBS and Icapital would deliver access to curated UBS and iCapital alternative investment products through Envestnet’s platform.

Clients would be able to access products such as hedge funds, private equity, venture capital or real estate via the Alternatives Exchange, which Envestnet would launch.

«UBS has a long history of partnering with leading technology companies, like Envestnet and iCapital, to help broaden the firm’s distribution network of its products and services,» UBS Americas President Tom Naratil said.

«This strategic relationship will enable us to scale our product offering for investors and strengthen our position in the alternative investments sector,» he added.
