The banking software provider disclosed pair of senior promotions in Asia.

Zurich-based Avaloq appointed Gery Dachlan as managing director for South Asia and Australia, and Pascal Wengi as managing director for the North Asia region, it said in a statement on Wednesday. It isn't clear when the promotions take effect, or who the duo replace.

Based in Singapore, Dachlan (below, at left) joined Avaloq in 2013 and was previously its market head of South Asia and Japan. Wengi (below, at right), who is based in Hong Kong, joined Avaloq last year as head of sales for China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.

The moves follow the firm's overhaul of its top management last month. Avaloq, which was acquired Japanese tech giant NEC for $2.23 billion late last year, is now run jointly by product chief Martin Greweldinger and technology boss Thomas Beck.
